Ethanol Series Tower
Counterflow - Film Fill - Douglas-fir Structure
Specifically designed for ethanol plant duty, these counterflow towers are available in multiple structures and intended to withstand high levels of strain.
Because of the volatile and highly flammable nature of ethanol, Cooling Tower Depot® is committed to providing our customers in the ethanol industry with dependable cooling towers that help keep plants running smoothly.
The low-fouling, high-performance film fill used in these towers results in effective cooling, as the fill allows for a thin "film" of water to have maximum exposure to airflow. Please note that film fill is not appropriate for environments in which the risk of contamination of the circulating water with debris exists.
Designed for heavy industrial use and long service life, our ethanol towers' Douglas-fir structures are durable and possess a proven track record for success in the cooling tower industry. While Douglas fir can withstand chlorides, sulfates and hydrogen sulfide, it is not capable of withstanding high, constant levels of free chlorine or prolonged temperatures of 140 degrees Fahrenheit or hotter. All wood is treated against decay.
